Lesleigh Mausi, M.Ed. is an award-winning educator, entrepreneur, speaker and
author. She is co-founder of The DOME Group, an entertainment promotions
company producing live concerts and music events throughout the country.
Lesleigh’s journey in entrepreneurship began after a rewarding 23-year career in
public education, teaching elementary, middle and high school students students in
both Detroit, MI and Durham, NC. She was first to be named Assistant Principal of
the Year for Durham Public Schools, the district’s inaugural award. She took a leap of
faith in 2016, leaving her cherished career to join Sulaiman in building their family’s
businesses. Though she’s no longer in the classroom, Lesleigh continues to impact
youth and women beyond school walls speaking at conferences and hosting
empowerment and vision board seminars.

Since her career shift, Lesleigh has formed and is CEO of the couple’s newest
business ventures: ATAP Logistics, an executive transportation company, and The
Power of Us Brand, a movement that elevates marriage and entrepreneurship
through mentorship and retreats. During the COVID pandemic in 2020, she co-
wrote and self-published their first book, The Power of Us: How to Win in Marriage
and Business. The book chronicles their personal triumphs and pitfalls, and serves
as a guide for entrepreneurial couples in their journey to building success.

A Detroit native, Lesleigh holds a B.A. in Communications from The University of
Michigan and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Wayne State
University. A 29 year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated,
Lesleigh is a loving wife of 30 years, a nurturing mother of three amazing sons, and a
woman with a testimony to the power of God.
